The Road to Yogaville…

As part of my summer vacation, I spent some time with my sister in Yogaville, a retreat center in Buckingham, Virginia, the birthplace of Integral Yoga.

Yogaville exceeded my expectations for its sheer architectural beauty, interfaith awareness, great yoga classes and lectures, gourmet vegetarian and vegan meals prepared with organic produce picked daily from their own farmland, plus a multitude of blessings. I can highly recommend this place for anyone seeking to get away for a few days (or weeks) to rejuvenate.

As many of us visitors on the “Welcome Weekend” noted, it’s a lot closer than India, and one can reap similar spiritual rewards here.

By the time one leaves Yogaville, a deeper sense of Oneness is felt. We were touched, moved and inspired by the monks, residents and fellow travelers. We came to understand more powerfully the founder Sri Swami Satchidinanda’s motto, “Truth is One, Paths are Many.”

Insurance Update

For the past several years I have been working as a Life Coach in Massachusetts because there is no reciprocity with New York for clinical social workers (or any health care providers).

It was an exciting challenge to become re-licensed in Massachusetts, and now, as of May 3, 2013, I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, and can provide out of network reimbursement for other insurance carriers. (I have maintained my licensure in NY as well).

If you would like more information about this, or would like to schedule an appointment, please call my office at 978.710.8039.
